Our Constituency
Last night, our campaign took me to the Clift Hotel in San Francisco for an event organized by the Iris Foundation, founded by Mary Chung Hayashi, which is an organization devoted to suicide prevention.
The honored guest at last night's event was Mariel Hemingway, whose family has been affected by mental illness for generations. Ms. Hemingway is one of our fellow travelers, and I would be honored to have her at all of our campaign events. She's an excellent spokesperson for the cause.
As we near the election, I continue to be inspired by the camaraderie of the people dedicated to the cause of improving mental health services, research, and treatment. We have clearly hit on a longstanding need - to organize the constituency of supporters of mental health causes. Each day, we reach more people and our support base expands.
Out on the campaign trail, every day I find myself among people who are devoting all of their spare time to doing everything they can do to see that Prop. 63 gets the votes it needs to pass. I am very touched by the dedication of so many people.
We have little more than two weeks to go until the election. Please do everything you can to get the word out. Please forward our weekly email newsletter to everyone that you can, and email your friends about Prop. 63.
If you haven't already, please become a Prop 63 Rapid Responder to make sure we have the resources to counter last minute TV advertising by our opposition.

For many years, the "MENTAL HEALTH" approach to all kinds of common problems has been to drug people, even drug rehab is "handled" by substituting drigs.
Claifornia spend 2.5 billion on mental health programs last year. According to Grand Jury Audit in LA County, in 2002 just one children Mental Health Facility cost taxpayers at least $276,000 a year per child
That is more than ten times what it costs to keep an prison inmte i his cell for a year 7 ties the price of of a yaer in a California youh authority detention center. Now if this is not shoking enough, then look at this one. That much momey can pay for a delux room at the Regent Bebely Wilshire Hotel in Baberly Hills with extra money in plenty for room service for a year!!! and you people are short n funds?
how about the many kids who were placed on dangerous SSRIs now under investigation and subject to black box warning by FDA regulation due to their incresed suicidal thoughts as a marked side effect? this cost tax payers billions of dollars and yet many kids were found to calm down and respond to simple routine medical check ups, showing there was a mal nutricion problem, or a real physical illness causing their "behaviour problems" or their inatention. How about the meny kids that have died under mental health care? when they had no physical illness that would provoque that? or the heart complications many kids now suffer? how much did that cost? is that why you wnat the money to be spendable without acess to the Gopvernor or the legislature? How could you cry out for "more money" when not only the exorbitant cost of mental health is unjustified and your results are pittyful, but also California has ben penalzed 73.3 milliom dollars off of Tax payer's money, due to FALSE CLAIMS ACT, violations submited to the Federal Governement's medicaid in the Menatal Health Sector? You can't be serious about the dire need of money, how about starting to spend the billuions you already take in in a wise manner? honeslty? how about getting someone cured for a change? Menatl Health aPhylosophy masqaurades for science, yet it fails to pass any of the requirements of Scientific procedure. it is NOT an exact science, no one can say what the long term effects are of brian alteration trhough powerfull chemicals, and no one can to date identify the exact "Chemical inbalance" they don't know how much is corect amounts of chemicals in the brain or not, they just drugg pepople on a subjective test with a wide margin of error and a letany of voted in illnesess. How is that a science? and how come that can cost more than normal medicine costs?. Yes, people do need help with menatl conditions, but this bill is not going to solve anything. It is the same old, throw money at the problem and hope it'll be better, that is a provenly failed approach. NO NO NO ON 63 FOR GOODNESS SAKE. let's resolve the ethical issues that riddle the mental health community, let's resolve it's love affair with the pharmaceutical industry and let's aduit the current programs and budget, cut out the wastefull spending and get honest and straight. It is the future of our children, not just the meony we are now making.
Also, your proposition propones that the required subsidy can not be cut and can not fall short of the projected level and can not be used to balance the budget, so if the 1% on millionaires does not foot the bill, then we are the ones who will inebitably pay for it. and our children will inherite the burden. NO NO NO NO.

Mental illness is something that is created. In Ernest Hemingway's case, he was said to be paranoid and was given electric shock therapy which stold his memeory. As he was a writer, it stold his life. He committed suicide. Too late, we find the FBI was indeed surveiling him and his "delusions" were correct. Now, we have madness being manufactured by psychiatrists voting new illnesses - FOR WHICH THEY GET PAID - into existence by show of hands. One of the most hilarious lines is, "it's a chemical imbalance in your brain." We've all heard that, right? It's a complete total and utter lie! The ONLY way you get a chemical imbalance that is actually physically measurable is by taking drugs! Anyway, we can't afford to entrust the field of mental health to psychiatry. Psychiatry is for domination - period. It was useful for Hitler and his ilk. No on Prop 63 and get the shrinks out of California and the US!

Dear Glenis,
I am sad that you have such a negative view of psychiatry when my experience has been quite the opposite. I have had the good furtune to have competent therapy which has been an extremely helpful part of my life. I wish you the best in learning what is helpful for your life.

You are a fake and a fraud, Mr. Bussie, and I know ye shall be stopped in your tracks, and fail at all you do to hurt others in trying to gain for yourself. Being a scam-srtist is against the law, you know. And if you are so real, then why is everyone ignoring your posts on all the websites you post on, and blowing you off? You claim to know all these famous people - honey, I really do - and CAN prove it; you don;t and can;t.
I reported you - and if you think you're fooling anyone - you're not. I will not stand by and allow the lieskk of you to take advantage of poor folks.
So stupid - you don;t even know what this website is about, and you're posting about your junk here (duh - this site page isn;t about "psychis", dumm-dumm!) - I pity the poor webmaster who did this site - and all the other webmasters you've bothered.
you think I didn't do my homework? I did - and extensively ..... guess you didn't. But I do hope that out of posting on this man's website you DO get the mental help you need - cause I believe you are living in an illusion world and it's soon going to catch up with "real" reality - and you.
